Investments in Seedrs are made in GBP, so if you own EUR/USD or another currency, you need to make an exchange and there is no need to pay high fees for it at your bank.
I usually use card payment ie. via Revolut, where a middle rate is used, but it is not a problem to use another service, such as TransferWise, Curve or something else.
